Do not use a knife but your finger, Pushing the Envelope

Pushing the Envelope
by Andreakuo

When a letter arrived, do you cut the envelope with knife? Well, it's a good habit, but I recommend you to use your finger.
This envelope cutter looks like literally a finger. Hm.. perhaps your second finger. It also has a nail. It is made of dark wood which makes this item stylish and classy.

The design is very simple but it's a creative item that makes us smile.

Tiny House
by AF Bostader, Sweden

Have you ever thought you can build a house in 12 square meters? In Lund, Sweden, a tiny house was built that its size is only 12 sqm. This house was built for the students in the town of Lund.

Surprisingly it has everything you need, bed, table, kitchen and a bathroom. The interior design is so clean and cozy with yellow lights, woods and white paint. You might think the small house would be narrow and stuffy, however it has small windows on the roof which you can have sunlight through.

The fortress-looking outer wall is made of bricks and through the small spaces of the wall allow the sunlight. The wall facing the garden is equipped with big windows so that the garden can be seen thoroughly.

This house has a long swimming pool from the separate building to the inner side of the house.

For the materials, concrete and windows are used mostly. Crossbeams, columns, floor, stairs, benches and shelves are made with concrete. And putting many big windows, the architects made the space feeling opened.

Hide Stool
by Tove Greitz

A piece of furniture created by Swedish designer Tove Greitz, a rectangular solid shape with a simple structure erected on four legs that are different for size and type of timber.

An original solution characterized by an interesting mosaic made up of multiple geometric shapes. Not simply a stool with fixed, aesthetic and decorative elements, but moving parts that build up a puzzle able, with the right combination of frames, to show the opening that allows to lift the seat in order to reveal a new function.

Two V-shape legs are easily constructed and then the legs are connected to a cross hole on the table board. Very simple and easy. So you don't need any chemical bond or drivers.

Feel the Bird's Comfort, Nestrest

Nestrest
by DEDON

'Nestrest' is made by DEGON which is a well-known outdoor furniture brand.

Two designers Daniel Pouzet and Fred Frety from Paris designed this furniture with new material 'DECON Fiber'. It's a sort of a rest place hanged from a tree or placed on the ground with its own stand. It has natural curve which is combined with the shape of bird's nest and waterdrop. This curve makes you feel comfortable and itself a good and stylish item.

The new material 'DEDON fiber' is created by Bobby dekeyser, the founder of DEDON, in the late of 1980's. DEDON Fiber is a synthetic fiber which has the texture of wisteria and durability. Worried of standing this outside? You don't have to worry about it. This fiber can stand UV, rainstorm, dust and the change of temperature. Moreover, its color is not changed and it is flexible which allows you using it for four seasons outside. You can just wipe up with wet fiber to clean the surface. You don't need a special cleaner. Since its material is not made of wood, few insects will be seen on this item. It can be easily moved since its light weight.

Size : diameter 200cm / height 260cm
Color : Natural, White
